I have lived, operated a business, and raised a family in the City of North Lauderdale for over 20 years. During this time, I served my community in several capacities including promoting child literacy through the ‘Reading is Fun in North Lauderdale” program, improving health and wellness awareness through the “Your Health is Your Wealth” health fair, and partnering with local organizations to conduct free U.S. Citizenship application drives, for which I recently received a commendation from the City Commission.

However, it is time to move the city forward — time for a fresh vision. As your commissioner, I am committed to creating a safe, and vibrant community with thriving businesses, high-performing schools, engaged residents, and more social programs for all residents. I am confident my commitment, experience, and leadership skills will make a difference as I continue to work in making the City of North Lauderdale a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Priorities

My goal is to bring positive change, address critical issues, and work tirelessly to improve the lives of the residents of the City of North Lauderdale. If elected, I will advocate for:

Safe & Clean Neighborhoods
Business Sustainability and Revitalization
High Performing Schools
Infrastructure Improvements
Fiscal Responsibility & Accountability

Safe & Clean Neighborhoods

Public safety should be of top priority to the City of North Lauderdale. As your commissioner, I will work with my colleagues to ensure our law enforcement is adequately funded, trained, staffed, and equipped to assist them in their fight against crime in our city.

A clean, well lit, well-kept neighborhood attracts new residents, and new businesses, it can also deter intruders and criminal activities. I will reintroduce the beautification program and ensure that our codes are enforced.

Business Sustainability and Revitalization

Investing in our businesses is important to the development of the city. I will work to attract new businesses as well as to sustain the interest of our existing businesses by utilizing available grants and other funding sources for the redevelopment and improvement of our neighborhoods and business community.

High Performing Schools

A safe school environment translates into better learning which ultimately results in more focus and better grades by our students. This starts with our investment in early childhood education and providing alternative educational programs for our youths.

Infrastructure Improvements

This year, the city will celebrate its 61st Anniversary. We have an aging infrastructure that needs repairs. I will work along with my colleagues and staff to explore programs that are available through our federal, state, and county government to assist in improving our infrastructure.

Fiscal Responsibility

Spending our tax dollars wisely and leveraging the city’s resources with grant programs and other opportunities. Attracting new residents and new businesses will add to the city’s revenue, thus lessening the burden on the residents without cutting essential services.

We need you! Your donation will help us win in November and give District C a commissioner committed to honoring your support by serving with integrity, transparency, and a steadfast dedication to making a positive difference.

Mar in the community

As someone who has seen how our city has changed, I know that it’s time for a fresh vision. One that unites the city, its residents, and the commission to foster a better quality of life for all. We deserve effective leadership that listens, cooperates, and acts in the best interests of its residents. I am that leader.”
